About

Kelly Duffy is a DMV-based artist with a background in early childhood education. She combines paint, wood, plaster, glue, and sand to create touchable texture and depth in her work. As a teacher, she has always kept one foot in the art world, drawing, painting, and taking pictures of everything in her life. 

She also remains a jack of all trades, as she's (in no particular order) a ship's captain, licensed real estate agent, concert photographer and reviewer, writer, therapeutic riding assistant, and a mom of three. After fifteen years of city living in NW DC, she and her family picked up and moved to rural south PG county where the spiders are big, the wildlife is bold, and her time to paint is plentiful.
